  2. This archive contains translations of the dviwin, wbr and clipmeta string
  3. files for various languages. Each set of files resides in a single directory;
  4. the directory "russian" for example, contains the files "dviwin.rus",
  5. "wbr.rus" and "clipmeta.rus". The easiest way to use a desired set of
  6. string files is to rename them to "dviwin.str", "wbr.str" and "clipmeta.str"
  7. respectively and copy them on top of the standard distribution files. Note
  8. that these string files assume several standard font encodings and they
  9. require the appropriate Windows fonts; the Greek fonts for example, will
  10. work only with the Greek installation of Windows; if you use them on the
  11. standard (US) version of Windows, you will see interesting, but meaningless
  12. characters.
